Lunar eclipse

The 21st of December is a very special day and one that does not happen very often. It is a lunar eclipse, full moon and winter solace the longest night of the year. The nights are now getting shorter, and slowly summer is returning to us.

I just want to run around and do as many things as possible, as I am always short of time, but now, I have realised that I have to take my time, be slow and steady. I watch the other people in the yard working on their boats, and notice no one running around like a mad chicken…..only me!!

The mast is out, and the rigging is getting done, I thought about getting a Christmas tree to stick in the hole where the mast goes, but its been raining too much, so cross that idea off!

Enjoy this special night, and take a look at the night sky.
