Yemaya was christened as we sailed her under the golden gate with a splash of wine on her bow. I had read that the 10m was quick, but I didn’t realise how quick she was. She sits on 7 knots with out even trying, you only have to touch the wheel, as she steers her self most of the time.  Up wind at 8 knots for a 33 foot boat, her motion is smooth and comfortable.

Bj just returned from the Spinnaker cup on Alpha Puppy a 1D35, they enjoyed surfing along at 16 to 18 knots. Which is a prologue to Transpac, Go Alpha Puppy!

Yemaya is looking good, we have replaced the running rigging, rigging, chain plates, installed Aries wind vane, reefing blocks and lines, pulled out the alcohol stove, installed new stereo, vhf with AIS, new mast head lights, custom mast step installed, got rid of the ugly apples painted on the side and stripes, solar panel installed.

Now need to find a second hand stove, so I can have some hot grub along way, SSB setup, anchor windlass and a couple of bean bags. You got to have bean bags!
